Thoughts on Generation X, Y and Z

Human beings have experienced a rapid change in their lifestyle after the ‘industrial revolution’. The industrial revolution paved changes to cultures, customs and traditions in societies all over existence. These changes pertained blocks of time periods through the existence of humankind which indulged the labeling and categorization of generations. In the present day you can find different names for the generations who lived in the world in those time periods. Some of them include; The Depression Era, World War II, Post-War Cohort, Boomers I or The Baby Boomers, Boomers II or Generation Jones, Generation X, Generation Y, Generation Z.
People who belong to ‘Generation X’ are born from 1966 to 1976. In 2018 they are between the ages of 52 to 42. People born between 1977 and 1994 are considered ‘Generation Y’. This generation is also called “Echo Boomers” and “Millenniums”, they range between ages 41 to 24 in the present day. ‘Generation Z’ occupies birth years between 1995 and 2012, ages spanning from 23 to 6.
The generation X has spent most of their life time with nature and bind with it. As kids they have more memories of playing outdoors and enjoying the perks of Mother Nature. Generation Y are the transition kids. Their childhood involves both playing outdoor games and modern technology games. Generation Z were born into the world of digital technology. Unfortunately most kids from this generation do not have a lot of experience of playing outside and they do not seem to enjoy it as much as the past generations did.
Considering the health factor of the three Generations, Generation X got all the good and clean healthy food and nutrients out of all the generations. They had the opportunity of taking up outdoor jobs which motivated exercise. Generation Z also contradictorily now shows evidence of the majority being addicted to fast food, which leads to the rise in consumption of medications and maintenance in health standards. Generation Y got the chance to eat both fast food and nutritional food. Their health situation is much improved than the past generation as they got the best of both worlds. Generation Z is the most adapted generation when it comes to technology and knowledge with the consideration of other generations.
