There’s a famous saying by Eleanor Roosevelt that goes like this;
“Great minds discuss ideas
Average minds discuss events
Small minds discuss people “
It’s been said that the humankind was made in the image of God. We have the most advanced mind and most advanced capacity to think than all the animals in the animal kingdom. Everybody has a mind of their own. So what do we do with our mind? We have the indefinite capacity to think. We generate ideas and concepts from this process of thinking. A simple idea has the capacity to even change the whole world. Great developments of mankind were all initiated by this phenomenon known as an idea.
Our process of thought, not only functions when we are conscious or awake but also when we are sleeping, we think in the form of dreams. Our hopes and aspirations. Our thoughts and reflections. Some of these things we keep locked away safely in our unconscious mind. And sometimes these thoughts and hopes come back to us, in our dreams and we watch them like movies as we snooze away in the unconsciousness of our minds. Dreams can be considered a form of thoughts that can generate ideas. It has been said that we start to dream 40 minutes to 1 hour after we fall asleep. This could depend and change according to different people as we all have different experiences with the concept of dreaming. Haven’t we all had the experience of waking up from a dream? What so ever, dreams are a form of our ideas. We find people in states of unconsciousness for weeks end long stuck in hospital beds, attached to life supporting machines. Do they also think and dream in this state of unconsciousness?  What do they think when they are in this state? Is their consciousness in a different dimension?
Our thoughts and ideas that we generate are never similar to another person’s thoughts and ideas. In that sense, has there ever been a chance where two people thought the exact same thing? In my opinion, it’s a good thing that nobody thinks alike. Just imagine if everybody in the whole world was constricted to just a hand full of ideas and thoughts. We would probably not have come this far in civilization and evolution. There wouldn’t be any productivity. We would be stuck in one pathetic place, like a time loop. Same old boring ideas, again and again.  
There are times when you can’t think or generate new ideas and there are instances when out of the blue, the most awesome idea just pops up in your head. And sometimes these instant ideas have a lot of potential in developing into a huge concept. The importances of ideas are often not given enough credit in most circumstances. My mother always advises me. “Make sure you find someone who has matching ideas with you, to spend the rest of your life with”.
Discussing ideas collectively, sharing and collaborating individual thoughts by brainstorming with a group, in the objective of forming something whole, this has the adequacy of holding more value. Collective success has a sweeter taste than individual success. It is easy to understand that humans as social beings have the inevitable capacity to come to understand the thoughts of other people. So let’s start with a small idea for it has the scope and capacity to do great things.

Thoughts on Generation X, Y and Z

Human beings have experienced a rapid change in their lifestyle after the ‘industrial revolution’. The industrial revolution paved changes to cultures, customs and traditions in societies all over existence. These changes pertained blocks of time periods through the existence of humankind which indulged the labeling and categorization of generations. In the present day you can find different names for the generations who lived in the world in those time periods. Some of them include; The Depression Era, World War II, Post-War Cohort, Boomers I or The Baby Boomers, Boomers II or Generation Jones, Generation X, Generation Y, Generation Z. People who belong to ‘Generation X’ are born from 1966 to 1976. In 2018 they are between the ages of 52 to 42. People born between 1977 and 1994 are considered ‘Generation Y’.
