Every idea should have a beginning somewhere. But that somewhere does not always have to be an expensive, high tech computer screen in an equally expensive, large meeting room.
Would it be hard to believe if I said that some of the world’s most famous and admired creations started from a scribble on a piece of little tissue paper?
As reported by The Telegraph, JK Rowling's idea for the widely adored novel series; Harry Potter, came to her while in a train station waiting for her train to London.
In addition to this, Pixar's 1998 Biggest Movie: "A Bug's Life", 2001 "Monsters Inc.", 2003 "Finding Nemo" and 2008 "WALL-E", all started from the humble beginnings of a piece of tissue paper that was available during a lunch break.
The Space Needle, an iconic landmark of Seattle, Washington DC, was primarily sketched on the remnants of a tissue paper while creator Edward E. Carlson was in the middle of enjoying a cup of coffee at a restaurant in 1912.
Furthermore, the Voyager, the world's first inbound airplane, originally flourished in 1981 on a tiny tissue paper.
The value of an everyday simple commodity like tissue always goes unnoticed. If you think about it, a piece of tissue will most of the time, only gain significance in the instance of getting rid of something without getting your hands dirty. But in some corner of the world an innovator in the hurry to scribble down an idea before they forget it, brings upon a far more fortunate destiny for a piece of tissue paper. So.
